November Die Release Launch -- Nobles

Hello everyone!  Welcome to the blog launch of my last die release for this year!  There are thirty dies that will be shown during the next five days and as usual, I will be giving away a set of each of them with the winners to be announced on Sunday Nov. 22.  Each die drawing will be based upon the comments left on those posts.  You may leave one comment per person per post so that you are entered into each and every drawing.  Duplicates will be removed before the drawing and I ask that you please leave more than just a single name when commenting.  I only have one set of each to give away so I don't want there to be any sort of confusion.  A surname initial or funny alias or even put the name of the town or city you are from after your name, just some way that I can definitively identify you if your name is drawn please.  First up is the Square and Rectangle sets of the Noble dies.  You may think you have seen these already, but this is the B set which corresponds perfectly to the Double Pierced Noble Squares and Rectangles that are already on the market.  These sets will give you the cuts that fit in between the previous released sets.  If your budget stretches to both sets, then you will be able to mat and layer at 1/8th inch intervals.  This allows for a more precise matting and layering and the options for frame making have just gone up.  This sample shows one example of how you can use the two sets to create beautiful layered frames.  Leave me a comment to be included in this drawing.  The next post is scheduled to go live at 12 noon, hope to see you there!  All for now, Sue x

Good morning Sue,
Absolutely stunning card, I love that you have brought out these dies to fit in with the original ones, they make your cards look professional as I could never seem to pierce in a straight line my ruler always seemed to move. So thank you Sue you have given me my confidence back . Yvonne xx

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, I have been waiting anxiously for this release and wow you have not disappointed me with the 'B' set of the squares and rectangles, I have the first set and use them all, yes all, the time, they are a real must for any crafter, the time it saves when making a card is amazing, the crisp finish that they give is so professional, in fact I have never seen a shop bought card made with such a creation, I really do love them, I would of course, like everyone else, like to win one of the them so good luck to everyone. Also because the dies fit easily with an 8"x8" card base you can easily achieve a beautiful creation. You can also make a strip border with them, it looks fabulous. Good luck everyone.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Thank you, Sue, for yet more opportunities to see (and perhaps win) your new dies - as ever, so generous. Oh how I love your Noble dies, don't have them all but working up to it! Gorgeous card and a great start to the launch.
See TL are doing pierced dies now called 'Pin Dot' hummmph, copying or what?
Thinking of Melody, Francis, Tracy, Wheely, both Lorraines and now Yvonne's MIL too, what a shock.
Angela - welcome back to a soggy west Wales! Hope you've brought some sun.

Hi Sue. What a wonderful start to Friday the 13th! Do you have the same superstition about this day in the USA? I love my pierced squares and it'll be wonderful to have a set which matches as I'm another that just can't get the hang of using a piercing ruler. I agree that being able to use them with an 8x8 card blank is fabulous. Will have to wait until tonight to see what else you have in store for us.
Sending special thoughts and wishes to everyone in pain or with worries. Sue XXX

Good morning Sue,
First of all a big thankyou for giving us the chance to win one of your gorgeous new dies.
Today's card is so beautiful and just right to launch your new collection.
I am afraid I haven't got the original set of these Noble pierced dies but they are on my list as I can see they make a really professional and elegant card and must be such a time saver!
I am still using my original Spellbinders squares but as I have now started making larger cards it would be great to add one of these sets to my SW collection!

Good morning Sue, These dies look so useful and the demos I have seen have been just fantastic. It makes layering so much easier - which I find so difficult.

I just love catching up with your blog and thanks so much for this fantastic offer.

Good Morning, Sue,
The start of another really busy posting period for you with this new collection. I have to hold my hand up and admit that I've seen the collection already online (as a pre-order item) and I know which one I have fallen head over heels in love with lol.
The Noble pierced dies have to be some of the most useful 'functional' sets, especially to people like me who are totally useless at matting and layering lol. It also saves a lot of time that is usually taken up with manual piercing (something I'm now practicing as I've finally managed to get one of your piercing rulers...yay!).
Looking forward to all the posts over the coming days, and good luck everyone in the draws.

I have both these sets and now have great difficulty making a card without using them. The squares are always out - love them. The rectangles I must admit I mainly use the smaller ones for tags/sentiments. Want Circle and Oval now - especially circle.

Beautiful Card. Love these layering dies, they make matting and layering so easy and professional. Also love the piercing detail. xx

Lovely card and what a good idea Sue! I thought at first they were the first sets you produced, I thought I had company in the confused club I set up some time ago! :) Like others, I'm wondering where on earth you get the time to do all your designing, demonstrating, card making for the blog every day, I wish I had a fraction of your inspiration and energy.

Hello Sue,
Oh dear Sue, these are dies I need !!!!!!
I better correct myself - I would love,
These dies would complement set A which I'm lucky to own
and certainly give a brilliant finish to any cards I make.

PLEASE, PLEASE can I go in the draw?
I would so love to win either of these sets.

See you later, Love Brenda xxx

Good morning Sue. Golly yet more fantastic dies to add to my Christmas list. I only hope that Santa has enough room on sleigh. Better leave him a larger than normal mince pie. Can't wait to see what else you have in your sack of goodies for us. Like many others I always head for your blog when I need some inspiration & am never disappointed, keep up the good work

Sue & WW...Oh me oh my...30 new dies!!!! Of course I'll want them all! Like P in Wales, I'm working on collecting all the Nobles (more slowly than I would like, but that's better than not at all) they are just so incredibly versatile. These 2 new ones will be very handy indeed. I try the ruler technique, but never quite get it right (especially the corners). I've watched your video a couple times on it, but I guess I haven't practiced enough. Now if I'm a lucky girl, maybe I'll win one if these sets and eliminate the need for that practice. If not, I'll keep practicing and saving until I can buy each set on my own. Sometimes it's hard for me to get as excited about the more "basic" looking designs or ones I consider should be staples in every crafter's stash, but they save so much time and that's where the true beauty & excitement comes in! The card is a real beauty and I'm thinking maybe some of the other parts are new too? This card is "right up my alley", I love everything about it! Hopefully we'll get a tutorial at some point. Good luck to all in the drawings and thank you so much for your ongoing generosity & talent Sue! I miss all my "peeps" & look forward to trying to catch up :) Let me just say Yvonne it sounds like the firework display itself was a success (which is not at all surprising considering all the effort you put into it). Shocking about your MIL - hopefully after she heals she'll feel much better. My mum drive herself to the hospital (not once but twice because she started feeling slightly better once she got to the hospital parking lot the first time- so she turned around and went home). Then while climbing the few stairs up to her front door, she realized she better go back. Turns out she had suffered a heart attack. She had 1 stent placed because there was 100% blockage. They wanted to do a 2nd stent because another artery had 90% blockage, but Medicare refused to pay for it because was "only" 90% blocked. The cardiologist actually got on the phone with them and argued because she needed it and he was already going to have her opened up, she'd already be staying in the hospital for recovery etc, so tried to explain they would actually be saving $ in the long run. They said "not necessarily, because she might not make it to the hospital the next heart attack then they wouldn't have to pay anything" They wouldn't budge and Dr told them he wanted to argue longer to try and convince them how wrong they were, but he had a life to save (my mother's!). That part was awful, but the point of my story is that after surgery etc My mom felt so much better & hadn't realized just hew bad she had been feeling until she felt better. Ok I'm falling asleep mid sentence, time to quit. Oh and Wheely Bad & Laine, you had me laughing pretty good the other night!
Happy, healing thoughts & hugs to everyone, miss you! Rebecca H in Colorado

Hi Sue
I would love the chance to win these dies. I have your winter trees and one or two of the striplets, but so far my budget doesn't stretch very far and I don't have any of the layering type dies, so either of the sets would be welcome.

Hi Sue. WOW, WOW, WOW !! I know I have not been around for a while but what a day to return to your amazing blog !! Life has been very tough lately, ever since Alley Palley in September. I lost one of my dearest friends from Breast cancer and I am still struggling to make sense of it all. I have been very low. I love your blog launches as they are so exciting !! Thank you for cheering me up today and taking my mind off the horrors of the past couple of months. I have to admit that I saw your new die releases on a craft web site and on impulse I bought your new Double pierced Noble Squares set B in the hope it would correspond with the original Double Pierced Square Noble Dies and reading your post today I am over the moon that I have ordered them now !!! Thankyou so much Sue, you just know exactly what us crafter's really want and need !!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Lots of love and hugs to you Sue and everyone from Tres (Teresa from Orpington) x x x
